LCBE Central Office participates in
KidsFest

Members of the Lauderdale County Board of
Education’s Central Office recently participated in KidsFest,
sponsored by Baptist Memorial Hospital-Lauderdale. At the event,
many local businesses and organizations set up booths and
activities for area children and handed out information on
programs and services offered to children in the community.

Halls High 2006 Blue Ribbon
School
Halls High School has been named as one of
six schools in the state to receive the 2006 Blue Ribbon School
Award, a program established under the federal No Child Left
Behind legislation to reward high-performing schools.
LCBE Board of Distinction
Members of the Lauderdale County Board of Education were
recently honored by
the Tennessee School Boards Association at its Delta Fall
District Meeting,
a regional gathering held at Austin Peay Elementary School in
